Rich In History

Designed by renowned golf course architect, Gary Kern and completed in 1985, the course has been maintained to his original design standards.  The 18-hole par 72-championship golf course at Lake Forest Country Club provides golfers of all skill level enjoyable golf experiences throughout the year.

Our seven sets of tees are designed to enhance the play-ability of the course as well as challenge a golfer’s playing skills.  The course ranges from 4,877 yards to 7,055 yards. From our back tees, Lake Forest Country Club has consistently been rated within the Top 10 for the most challenging courses in the St. Louis area.

The golf course is nestled within the quiet community of Lake Saint Louis, which is easily accessible from Interstates 70, 40/64, and 364.  The location and layout of our clubhouse and golf course include breathtaking scenic views from some of the highest points in St. Charles County.  The golf course features bent grass greens, zoysia grass fairways and tee boxes, all of which endure our Midwest weather seasons. This enables golf play throughout the entire year.

Lake Forest Country Club has been proud to host many amateur and professional tournaments some of which include:

The Gateway Nike Classic (now the Korn Ferry Tour)
The Trans National Women’s Amateur Tournament
USGA and PGA Tour National Qualifiers
The Gateway PGA Section Championships
