2017 Junior Golf PROGRAM
Lake Forest Country Club
The Lake Forest Country Club Junior Golf Program welcomes children/grandchildren and guests of any member of Lake Forest Country Club. Children of Lake St. Louis Community Association members are also welcome to be part of our program. Junior Golfers are eligible between the ages of 6 to 18 years and must complete a registration form and photo release.
The mission of the Lake Forest Junior Golf Program is to provide a healthy, enjoyable and competitive program enabling children to develop knowledge of the game of golf, an appreciation of golf traditions and an understanding of golf rules and etiquette.
Golf can be a life-long sport. By instilling the love of the game within our junior golfers through our nurturing Junior Golf Program, it is our hope that we are presenting positive opportunities, which will encourage children to be life-long golfers!
Our Junior Golf Program takes place on Tuesday late afternoons for our 3 Holers and 6 Long Players. 6 Short, 9 Holers, and 18 Holers play on Friday mornings. Our program is designed with specific rules, goals, and criterion, which help our junior golfers understand how they progress to different levels of play.
Golf Academies for Junior Golfers are offered as well as the Tuesday and Friday play days. Registration for the Lake Forest Country Club Junior Golf Program is in mid-April. More information will be sent to membership in late March/early April.

PGA Junior League Golf
In addition to our Lake Forest Country
Club Junior Golf Program, the Club in conjunction with the Gateway PGA Section participates in the PGA Junior League. PGA Junior League Golf is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls ages 13 and under to learn and enjoy the game of golf. Much like other recreational league sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on

PGA Junior League Golf utilizes a popular scramble format that creates a nurturing environment for learning and development - both on and off course. With more than 2,900 teams and 36,000 participants in 2016 - and Ambassadors like Rory McIlroy and Michelle Wie. PGA Junior League Golf has wide-ranging appeal for both youth and their parents.
